    The Electromagnetic Factor

by Dave Schumacher and Jennifer Lauer

    Ghost!, Winter Issue, 2006-2007

This article addresses the following questions and uses data from the SWPRG's case files to answer them:

    • Is the predominant amplitude modulated frequency found at ‘haunted’ locations in the United States at 60Hz (US main power frequency) or is it at 50Hz (UK study results and UK main power frequency)? Are there other frequencies present?
    • Are the amplitude variations consistent with that seen in prior studies?
    • Do EMF ‘events’ correlate with subjective paranormal experiences?
    • Is it important to monitor the X, Y, and Z-axes separately in addition to the SUM?
